Fundraising Events
Every round played, every mile run, and every table filled at trivia night turns into scholarship dollars and direct help for families in treatment. Come out, have a great day, and carry a little luck for somebody who needs it.
Why we gather
Mike never met a tee time he turned down or a finish line he didn't chase, and he never once did either alone or without a smile on his face. The events we run in his name work the same way: they bring the community together around the things he loved, and they turn a good day out into real help for real families.
Every dollar raised goes to the foundation's two programs the Mike Kelly Memorial Scholarship and the Family Cancer Assistance Program. Event costs are kept lean on purpose, so the money you raise does what you meant it to do.
Golf outing
Our flagship fundraiser returns to the course Mike loved. Foursomes, hole sponsors, longest-drive and closest-to-the-pin contests, and a dinner where the stories get better every year.

Run event
Mike ran everything from 5Ks to marathons, so we built a race day to match. Pick your distance, run it in his honor, and stay for the family festival afterward. If anyone has experience planning events like this it would be great to chat!

The running series
Mike logged thousands of miles on roads, trails, and treadmills through two years of treatment including training runs the morning of chemotherapy sessions. Mike's Miles is our running series built in that spirit: whatever distance you can show up for is the right one.

The record so far
The foundation's first golf outing sold out its foursomes and filled its dinner, and the first Mike's Miles race drew runners across every distance. Every event so far has funded scholarships and direct family assistance and every one has ended the same way, with stories Mike would have loved.
